I'm not sure why I can't use ./ or ../ in the path of the "question_file" key, but that was the problem. After changing to an absolute path, it stopped crashing. There is still a problem actually getting the test to <i>start</i>, though... the page just reloads when I hit let's go. I'll post back if I figure out how to get it working, though. As for your blog misbehaving, this is probably another plugin misbehaving in conjunction with wbExam.
