wbExam 0.2.1

I’m proud to announce the wbExam 0.2.1 “Just a few more things” release.
You can find it here.
From the CHANGELOG:

ADDED

  • Automatic session starting. You can now remove the tag from the beginning of your template. In order for this to work when upgrading you’ll have to deactivate and then reactivate this plugin.
  • Added an option to the question_file: $wb_hide_spoiler. If this is set the ‘spoiler’-block will not be displayed.

Upgraders: You can now remove the tag from your template as session handling is now done by using the excellent WordPress-plugin hooks available.

As always feel free to leave me any comments/suggestions or questions in the comments or by mail.

WordPress PageTemplate for practice exams

Update:

I went ahead and made the plugin. It’s called wbExam and you can find it here

After getting some good LPI-testquestions from Ruben for my training-group I decided not to use his perl-cgi for displaying them, but rather hack together a little something that I could stick into WordPress. It eventually became a PageTemplate, but I guess I should have made it a plugin, maybe I’ll convert it someday. You can find an example of it here, it’s filled with the LPI 101 questions that I got from Ruben to help the people I’m training for their LPIC with their studies.
If you like it drop me a line at wander@tomaatnet.nl and I’ll send you the WordPress template, Heck, maybe I’ll even clean up the code and put it into a plugin.

Grmbl…

Today a colleague of mine gave me a picture she took at the head-office. Some of the guys from telemarketing had gotten strange ideas, and so the closest animal had to bear the burden of their fantasies.

Is that any way to treat an animal?
Luckily the sys-admin was notified and he came down to release poor Tux from his precarious situation…
